Dear Friends, the Cosmoscow Foundation really needs your support!

The nonprofit Cosmoscow Foundation for Contemporary Art was established in 2017 with the main objectivesto support young Russian artists, integrate them into the international context, and to develop arts philanthropy in Russia. The Foundation supports art prizes, delivers its own projects, and also provides direct funding to support unique cultural initiatives.

You can make your contribution to the development of Russian contemporary art by making donation to the implementation of the Foundation's programs.

Today, when the world is facing such a difficult situation as overcoming the pandemic, we continue to follow our mission and look for new ways to cope with the challenges that confront us.

Over the years, the Foundation has consistently provided access to educational resources, programs and separate events in contemporary art for a wide audience; implemented educational programs related to attracting world famous experts, – both within the framework of the Cosmoscow Art Fair and beyond; systematically built intercultural bridges and established dialogue between artists, art historians, art critics, curators, collectors and connoisseurs of contemporary art.

Support of the development of contemporary art in Russia and creation of the conditions for creativity and organization of exhibitions formed the basis of all the Foundation's programs.

In connection with the global crisis, which related to the spread of coronavirus, many workers of the sphere of Culture were left without livelihoods, social guarantees and stable mechanisms for implementing their projects. Unprecedented measures being undertaken in different countries left professionals, engaged in exhibition, entertainment and educational activities, – in suspense. In this situation, the Foundation considers it necessary to apply all its expertise and resources to consolidate the forces and not only to preserve existing programs, but also to strengthen them.

The new times have inspired us to work harder than ever to deliver you the 8th Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair and implement all the projects planned by the Foundation this year. In particular, as the whole world is making a necessary transition to online modes of transmission Cosmoscow is doing the same. We are developing improved online resources, which we hope are both convenient and enjoyable to use and will be launching extra digital functionality in the weeks and months ahead.

The Cosmoscow Foundation exists owing to project fundraising and crowdfunding, so the implementation of all our plans will be possible only thanks to your help, our trustees and representatives of the expert community, friends of the project and just interested people who consider our work an important part of contemporary art life. We need your support to continue supporting contemporary art in Russia.
